Just so there’s little chance you’ll bump into me anywhere else (wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy) here’s the other places I tend to hang out so that you can avoid them.
http://technograns.wordpress.com (my blog where I pretend I know what I am talking about but it’s really a load of old waffle.)
http://twitter.com/technogranma Yes, I do my share of twittering as well as moaning. In fact there are those who consider me a right twit.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/technogran/ Don’t go here as there’s load’s of pics of me grumbling and groaning all over the place!
http://technogransnaps.wordpress.com Here’s where I keep all my favourite photos that I have managed not to make a mess of. Some in widescreen panoramic super duper HD!
http://techno-gran.blogspot.com Yes, you’ve guessed it! I’m on Blogger as well! Looks to me as if I have too much time on my hands now I am retired.
“How to avoid me”… I absolutely love this. In fact, I’ve a jolly good mind to nick the idea!
Feel free! Won’t be the first time someone has pinched my ideas! LOL I haven’t patented it. 😉
What about your Windows Live Profile? 😉
Ooh yes! I forgot about that! Must be with spending all of my time now over here in this great blogging community. Will add it later. Mind you, as I am never over there much now, no one’s likely to bump into me are they….
Hello TG
Thanks to you I am beginning to get to grips with WordPress. I have not attempted to move my photographs from Windows Live Space yet, but I will follow your instructions when I do !
Looking forward to catching up on your blogs.
Take care, Marjie x
Thank you Marjie and have a great time over here in your new home! Once everyone has come over here, its going to be like old times because the WordPress bods are really working hard at new themes, new features and really care about this platform and us bloggers.
Hi TG, It’s kind of funny, over on the Windows Live Solution Center even a Microsoft employee has recommended your site to help someone with their question about moving photo albums from Spaces to WordPress: http://www.windowslivehelp.com/thread.aspx?postid=3f0cff0a-b1bf-4e86-ab3c-4d07ad8c69ef#3f0cff0a-b1bf-4e86-ab3c-4d07ad8c69ef
Yes Gerry but really that’s partly because when users complain on there, they have very little in the way of an answer for them. We MVP’s are also encouraged (as part of our remit) to help users, that is why we get awarded with MVP status, for helping ‘the community’ we aren’t there to help Microsoft or its employees.
This is a great idea but I can’t see why anyone would want to avoid you! Thanks for stopping by my site!
I would love for you to join in on the meme. Just schedule a post for December 12th with the questions and answers. You can also copy and paste the entire post from my site onto yours so your readers can know about it and participate too.
I look forward to reading your answers!
Tom
Thanks Tom, I will try to remember to do the meme although don’t hold your breath as I have a lousy memory!
Cool idea my dear lady. I glad to hear you have not patented the idea!!! LOL.
No I haven’t, its there for anyone to use as they wish….
