I had a strange birthday yesterday. Spent having yet another new experience sat in a very comfortable chair, being stabbed with needles four times in total on the back of my hands resulting in some lovely blue bruises, (I shall be taken soon for an alien as I will no doubt end up blue all over) and receiving lot’s of different inputs ranging from Steroids, anti-sickness stuff to my two separate chemo’s. K sat diligently at my side, noseying as she always does at everything going on around her.
The boss arrived back at roughly 10.00am. She hadn’t even reached the top of the stairs before I was handed a list of ‘things to order from Amazon’
First stop was the letter rack to open all of her birthday cards. Some contained money. She asked me what the total amount was. Then she jotted down the price of all items on her Amazon list. Did she have enough to cover everything? Just about. I was then pestered ruthlessly until I went online and ordered them all. All I will say is this. We need a bigger flat.
Here are the items in no particular order. (No pun intended.)
It’s my youngest sons birthday soon. In June. He requested an iPod. I talked him into letting me pay for his eyes testing and some new glasses. You know, buy a pair of designer one’s and get the other pair free? For £75 plus cost of eye test. I thought that the total amount would be about £100 at the most. So much for thought.
