If I have any long term readers left (or any readers at all) you will probably recall my many rants about the state of my deteriorating body over the years. Creaking knees, rubbish short term memory, (new CPU and new RAM needed I think!) constant back ache, etc etc, and how I wish we could go down to the Doctor’s and request new parts. Well it looks like some kind soul has taken pity on me and other with the same aging symptoms, and come up with this contraption! Not only that, they have kindly named it after me!
Sorry readers. My lousy memory and usual bungling disorganisation is the cause of this very boring blog post. See, the intention was, after looking out the window this morning and seeing a gorgeous blue sky, to capture for my readers a plethora of fantastic photos showing Autumn in all her golden glory but……… after taking this lone photo on my way down the hill, the battery ran out of my camera and so silently cursing my stupidity under my breath I had to abandon the idea and return home.
Traipsing up to the local Post Office clutching the letter that I took with me down to town yesterday to post and promptly forgot despite walking right past the town Post Office, set me thinking as I very often do just how lousy my memory is. I haven’t even the excuse that its only been this way since I became a senior citizen. I’ve always had a lousy memory. As long as I can remember. (pun intended.) I mean, how many other people do you know of who have to get daily reminders from their daughter who’s special needs are such that she is reputed to have a ‘short term memory deficit?’
