Blown away in Bridlington

On Sunday we set off to Bridlington, mainly because K insisted that she had never been there. She had as a little girl, but had obviously forgotten it. Our Train ArrivesAs most of my readers correctly  guessed, yesterday we set off for a day trip to London via the Grand Central train that uses our little station as one of its pick up points. Wet and Windy

Ventured out yesterday (though I nearly forgot I’d made the appointment! Good job K has a fairly good memory) to take K down to the doc’s for her check up.  It was wet and windy. I took some shots as we ventured down to town which I am showing here in a Live Writer Photo Album.

I was horrified to see that they are already accepting appointments for the flu jab! Cripes! It only seems like last month that we had our last flu jab done!

Time just flies by lately, when your young and foolish and wishing you were grown up it drags, when your getting on in years and wishing you could be young again it flies!

Thereby proving (to me at any rate) that time really is relative.

Fed up Friday.

This morning I have been forced to listen for the hundredth time (and watch via YouTube) the opening song to Mr Ed.  sigh. So as its Friday and  I don’t see why I should end the working week (for those who work) suffering alone, here is the offending video. (I’m beginning to regret these horse riding lessons!) She says that she can remember watching Mr Ed on the television as a young girl.  Next she’s be pestering me to send off for a CD of Mr Ed songs. Either that, or a DVD of his old programs.  I bet anything that she is expecting the horses at the riding school to talk back to her.
