If any of my readers happened to be loitering around my blog during this last week or so, they might have been annoyed to see countless changes taking place right before their eyes. I’ve been vainly trying to find a new header and background for both of my ‘diary’ blogs over here and on Blogger. It hasn’t really been successful because I have arrived at the conclusion that I have set myself an impossible task. To try and find a header or background that illustrated me as a person and what I am all about, not easy when I am not sure who I am myself! I’m still not fully happy with the current choice. It does reflect one of my great passions of course, steam trains, and the very mysterious dark figure loitering at the kiosk hints at my love of mysteries.

TG What a wonderful start to the New Year! Keep blogging everyone!
I made one of my infrequent visits to my Messenger Social feeds yesterday during a break in reading blogs and posting my own. I spotted this entry by one of my Windows Live friends who obviously hasn’t made the leap over here yet. I was quick to give him an answer to his question, and afterwards I ended up laughing about it all day. Here it is.
No, your not seeing things! No your eyesight hasn’t gone A-wol nor have you stumbled onto the wrong blog by mistake, it’s all my fault, I’ve changed my theme. Actually I can lay the blame firmly at the door of the WordPress Theme Team who have been at it again and found another lovely theme with which to tempt us users with. I love this one! I love the background image, the lovely large text which is so easy to read, I love everything about it.
Anyone paying a quick visit today on my WordPress blog could be forgiven for thinking that either they were seeing things or that they needed their eyes testing. It was neither of course, it was simply me doing my usual messing about changing to a new theme which then needed a new header and background. I was supposed to be ploughing my way through some ironing, but somehow got waylaid into wasting most of my time searching on the internet for suitable backgrounds for this blog.
Woke up this morning and could hardly walk. I must have twisted my knee yesterday though I don’t remember doing so. We walked down to do our shopping as usual, and it definitely didn’t do the twisted knee any good doing so. The shopping trip proved to be a real pain as I spent the entire merry-go-round clinging to the trolley limping along like Hopalong Cassidy. My face must have looked a picture judging by the looks from other shoppers. Didn’t stop them walking in front of me to reach an item from a shelf though, limping along or not.
Hmm, this theme is not looking as it should in Live Writer edit screen! It’s right over to the left hand side! Blimey! Do I try and correct it or leave it as it is? Decisions decisions. Mind you I am left handed so I suppose that’s something at least. The default text in this theme, which by the way will from now on be the default theme for WordPress. com is rather large. (good for us with dippy eyesight I suppose!.)
Is the title supposed to be so red? Doesn’t look right with my colour scheme! I had better take a look at some of the other posters on here who have used this theme. Check whether or not its just me.
